Our Tarantino's Player Of The Week is #49 Caleb Schreibeis, a Senior Defensive End from Billings.

In 2012, he was voted a team captain by his teammates following spring drills, joining his older brother Joe (in 2009) as a Bobcat captain.

He earned one of three D’Agostino Family Strength Awards during spring drills, and is a returning starter at defensive end.

He traveled to Brazil for coaching and missionary work over the summer, and has coached football in Turkey, as well.

(2011) Earned MSU’s Joe Tiller Defensive Coaches Choice Award… started all 13 games, finishing third on the team with 65 tackles, 11 tackles-for-loss, seven sacks, and six hurries… compiled two nine-tackle games (EWU, Weber)… 3.0 tackles-for-loss at Eastern Washington, 2.5 sacks against Idaho State.

(2010) Posted a solid sophomore season, registering 43 tackles, including 6.5 for a loss, with 3.5 sacks… recovered a fumble against Montana near the Grizzly goal line that turned back a UM touchdown in MSU’s 21-16 win… logged a pair of seven-tackle games UM and ISU… also logged two tackles-for-loss and a sack at Idaho State.

(2009) One of MSU’s top special teams performer who saw sparing but meaningful game action… recovered a fumble on a kickoff against South Dakota, and blocked a Portland State kick… also logged a dozen tackles, primarily on special teams… played in nine games… Academic All-Big Sky.

High School Finished a productive career at Billings West, earning all-conference and all-state honors as a senior… finished fifth in school history in quarterback sacks.

Personal Born Caleb Ben Schreibeis on September 30, 1990 in Billings… one of four children of Erika and Clark Schreibeis… the brother of former Bobcat tight end Joe Schreibeis, currently a teacher and football coach in Turkey.
