Shelton became the first major country star to appear on a mainstream reality TV singing competition when he signed on as a coach for 'The Voice,' while Urban is appearing as a judge on the upcoming season of 'American Idol.' Now, according to reports, Simon Cowell is trying to woo country superstar Shania Twain for 'X Factor.'

The CMT Music Awards were handed out Wednesday night in Nashville. Taylor Swift continued her dominant run at awards shows by claiming the night's biggest prize when her clip for 'Mine' took home Video of the Year.

Swift accepted the award via a live feed from Milwaukee during the latest stop on her current tour. She was her usual gracious self by saying, "I wish I could be there but I am hanging out with 15,000 of my closet friends in Milwaukee."
