Yesterday (Feb 22, 2013) afternoon at 4:25 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of an injured snowboarder in the area South of Hyalite Reservoir. Sheriff’s Search & Rescue, Rae Sourdough Fire and AMR responded to the call.
It happened Saturday, in the Cabin Creek drainage, which is north of West Yellowstone in remote, rugged terrain where experienced snowmobiles ride.
Last week, on Thursday, November 8 at about 3:30 pm, the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Deputies with Search and Rescue responded to two hunters who had gotten stuck near Little Bear Trail.
On Saturday, the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a 57 year-old male who was overdue from a dirt bike ride in the Bear Canyon area.
