Why I Love St. Jude

I am very lucky, because I have a job where I am paid to do good things. Volunteer work, emceeing events, helping non profits, raising money – it’s all part of what I am supposed to do. And I love it. It’s one of the things in my life I feel most fortunate about. And the cause that I hold closest to my heart is St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Why you ask? It’s hard to narrow it down to just a few reasons.

Tomorrow and Friday from 6am -7pm, XL Country will be hosting our annual Country Cares Radiothon to help raise money for the St. Jude Children's Hospital. Each year the Country Cares Radiothon is a huge success thanks to the giving people of Gallatin County. We would like to say thank you to all past contributors and to encourage everyone to make this year even better. Here is a touching story of a boy who's life is being saved each day by the kind hearts involved in the St. Jude Hospital.

XL Staff Spends Weekend At St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

In preparation for the 8th annual 'Ressler Toyota XL Country Cares Radiothon,' XL morning host Tom Jordan and XL afternoon host Erin Phillips are spending this weekend in Memphis, Tennessee at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The 2011 radiothon will take place March 10th & 11th.
