Today is another critical fire weather day, with breezy and dry conditions predicted. The wind will be less than yesterday, but still breezy at times.

The Pine Creek Fire is now at 7800 acres and is 40% contained.
The Pine Creek fire is 9300 acres and 5% contained.
The Pine Creek Fire is still at 12,000 acres.
UPDATE: 7:30 (Aug 31) Park County Sheriffs Office has issued a MANDATORY EVACUATION to Residents of the George Creek Area. The Road Block has been moved from Barney Creek to George Creek.
Some residents have been allowed back to their homes!
Pine Creek Fire is now at 12,000 acres. At least 5 homes and several outbuildings have been confirmed lost. Pine Creek Cafe, the school and church were not burned. There have been a few minor injuries, but no one has been killed.

Commissioners have passed a resolution declaring a state of Emergency for the Pine Creek Fire incident.
Several structures have been lost, but no official word on how many.
