After making calls to hundreds of businesses this week, I am dismayed that very few people return calls anymore. (Well, sure I am one of them...but that's not the point. Or is it?) And yes, I completely understand that our lives have become dumping grounds of unsolicited sales pitches, marketing messages, and "once-in-a-lifetime" offers. And yes, I get the fact that 99.99999% of the time the communication probably is worth avoiding.
I was talking to a co-worker yesterday about a new task she was trying to get comfortable with. She was frustrated and lacked confidence because she didn't feel comfortable with her new role. She was trying hard to learn, but was dissatisfied with how quickly her grasp of the duties was coming along.
I rolled into the drive thru at a fast-food restaurant here in Bozeman last week to grab a bite for dinner. It's not that I couldn't have prepared something good to eat at home, I just had the itch for a three-piece meal with a biscuit and mashed potatoes.
My wife and I lead a pretty exciting life. On Friday night's we usually come home, make a couple of cocktails, and clean the house. If that's not enough excitement for us, we might even throw in a couple loads of laundry

I was watching a TV show last night, and one of the characters was talking about his dislike of the saying, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions." His point was that at least you're trying to do good things.
I heard someone complaining yesterday about how fast Bozeman is growing, and how it is losing it's small town appeal. (Which I don't agree with.) I mean it is growing, but it's still one of the best places on the planet
