The Chicago Bears dumped the Seattle Seahawks 35-24 this afternoon in Chicago for the right to host the NFC Championship game next Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. In the AFC, the New York Jets defeated the New England Patriots 28-21, and will face the Steelers next Sunday in Pittsburgh.

The New York Jets capped a game ending drive by nailing a field goal with no time left on the clock in Indianapolis to give the Jets a 17-16 Wildcard win over the Colts; finally giving head coach Rex Ryan his much sought win over quarterback Peyton Manning. The Jets will now face the New England Patriots next weekend in Foxboro, Massachusetts.

One day after Brett Favre announced his retirement (again) following an injury plagued season with the Minnesota Vikings, two massage therapists have filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Brett Favre and the New Your Jets.

Although the New York Jets can likely afford it, the NFL sent a strong message to teams around the league today when it fined the Jets $100,000 for the sideline tripping incident earlier this month. Here's the scoop.
