Taylor Swift Hopes to ‘Evolve and Try New Things’ on New Album
In many ways, Taylor Swift seems to have come into her own in the past two years. With the release of ‘Speak Now,’ she brought her own writing prowess and her own raw emotions to the table. Now, with a mature new look and riding the coattails of a very classy Grammy performance (and with two new Grammys to her name), the ‘Mean’ singer has officially established once and for all that she’s on the scene to stay. And this leaves fans wondering what approach she’ll take with her next record.

Through a unique partnership with the makers of the popular iPhone app Hipstamatic, Lambert has debuted the full-length final version of ‘Mama’s Broken Heart’ — the album track that, as she told concert audiences a few weeks ago, she hopes will follow ‘Baggage Claim’ into heavy rotation on radio playlists.

LeAnn Rimes Discusses New Covers Album, ‘Lady & Gentlemen’ [VIDEO]
LeAnn Rimes ends a four-year hiatus this week and returns to record store shelves with her 13th studio album, ‘Lady & Gentlemen.’ As with her platinum-selling self-titled release from 1999, ‘Gentlemen’ is a collection of covers — but this time around, she decided to give things a new twist.
The idea, as Rimes explained during a recent Taste of Country interview, was to put a feminine spin on songs written and/or made famous by men, including George Jones, John Anderson, John Conlee and Merle Haggard.
William Shatner Covers Queen, Black Sabbath and More on Star-Studded New Album, ‘Seeking Major Tom’
He’s definitely best known for his acting résumé, but William Shatner isn’t just the guy who played James T. Kirk, T.J. Hooker, and Denny Crane; he’s actually enjoyed a long, albeit sporadic and rather irony-drenched, recording career, releasing four albums (including a double live release) over the last 25 years.
As luck would have it, Shatner’s been back in the recording studio lately, and he’s ready to return with his latest audio offering.

It’s been more than four years since Big & Rich released their last album, and the years since have seen both Big Kenny and John Rich start successful solo careers — but from all the fun they’ve been having on this year’s reunion tour, it’s obvious they missed making music together.
Seeing Big & Rich back on stage raises the natural question of whether or not they’ll return to the studio for another album, and fans who have been keeping their fingers crossed for new recordings from the hitmaking duo can rest easy because John Rich says he’s sure it’ll happen.

Next year, Josh Turner will celebrate his first decade in country music, and he’ll do it with millions of albums sold, nine top 40 singles, a pile of CMA and Grammy Awards nominations, and membership in the Grand Ole Opry.
That’s not a bad way to spend 10 years doing what you love — and Turner won’t start resting on his laurels now. In fact, he’s already deep into his next album.

She scored a number one duet with Brad Paisley this year, but it’s been a little while since Carrie Underwood released any new music on her ow. After all, her last album, ‘Play On,’ came out way back in 2009.
Her fans shouldn’t have to wait too much longer to hear more from her, though. She revealed during a call to Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on Thursday that she’s hard at work on her next record.
