This afternoon in Bozeman the Sacramento State Hornets (7-17, 4-9) handed the Bobcat Men's Basketball team (11-14, 5-8) it's sixth straight loss, 74-71 in front of the blue & gold faithful in the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. The Cats next face San Jose State on the road this Tuesday night.
The Montana State Men's Basketball team is looking to snap a five-game losing streak tonight against Northern Colorado at 7pm in the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. During the game MSU will honor the 2010 Football team, and raise the Big Sky Conference Championship banner.
In the early game of yesterday's Cat/Griz basketball double-header in Bozeman, the Lady Griz avenged their earlier loss to the Bobcat women by winning 56-55 in the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. Game-two was no better for Bobcat fans last night, as the men lost to Montana 79-58.
The Montana State Men's and Women's basketball teams host the Montana Grizzlies in double-header action today in Bozeman. The Bobcat women tip-off at 2:05 this afternoon in the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. The men face off at 7:05 tonight. The men's game is also the annual 'Coaches vs. Cancer' game. GO CATS!
It's hard to believe that by the time the Cats take the field for the first time this Fall, it will be in the newly expanded Bobcat Football Stadium. The project officially got under way yesterday afternoon in Bozeman, and is expected to be completed in time for the 2011 kickoff.
The Montana State Men's Basketball team (11-7, 5-1) dumped Eastern Washington (4-13, 1-4) 71-59 this afternoon here in Bozeman, behind Bobby Howard, Eric Rush, and Rod Singleton scoring 14 points each. Jordan Allou came off the bench to add 13.
