November 22, 2011 According to a new study, happiness is companionship and a $75,000 salary.
According to UPI, the study done by an economist and a psychologist from Princeton University, it shows that people who go to college, get married and end up with a job paying about $75,000 are more likely to be happy.

I want both! That being said, seriously, I would choose happiness. I did choose happiness, I passed up a couple high paying jobs to come here and start my family
June 24, 2011 I remember as a kid, having something bad happen, and my Mom would take me shopping. Retail therapy we called it. I still do it. If I have a bad day, a "prize" makes me feel better. It doesn't have to be something expensive, but it makes me feel happy
Ok, go ahead. Laugh, point fingers, snicker. I used to watch Oprah quite a bit. (I also watched the CBS soaps too. Bold & The Beautiful was my favorite.) Part of it was the fact that I didn't have cable, which limited my choices to Judge Judy, the guy painting on PBS, and Oprah. Back when Dr. Phil was an occasional Oprah guest I thought he was great. Now I think he has too much show, and too little material.
