October 12th is National Farmer's Day. We should be thanking farmers everyday for making sure we have food to eat, just don't forget to thank a farmer on October 12th.

So did you make any resolutions? Was one about losing weight? All I did was eat candy and baked goods for the past two weeks. I think I may have over-done it on the sweets! It seems that the most popular resolution for the New Year is to lose weight, at least according to MyGoals.com. If you really want to lose weight, don't diet.
My wife Lori is a baking fool this time of year. Pies, pies, pies, oh and FUDGE! I don't eat the fudge. Have never been a fudge eater. Just too sweet for me. So I brought a plate of fudge into the XL studio for Colleen to have a piece or two this morning and OMG!
