I went on the Close Up trip to Washington, D.C.  Kind of life changing.  I got to visit all of the big monuments, the Supreme Court, the Smithsonian...all the good stuff.  I got to see more than most people do when they visit on their own.  It was a learning experience that I still cherish.  The 8th Graders at Monforton School are trying to get their entire class on that trip.  They have raised thousands and thousands of dollars, but are still $9000 short.
