Chris Young, who enjoyed a sold out show in New York City this week, stopped by 'Katie' to chat with host Katie Couric about the single life, the road life, groupies and the subtle pressure his grandmother has put on him to settle down. He also revealed that he married his sister. Wait, what?
It's official! Carrie Underwood and Chris Young are sexy. In fact, they're the sexiest. The pair beat out eighteen other country singers -- 9 females and 9 males -- in a recent Taste of Country poll, with Underwood running away with the title with over 41 percent of votes. It was a little closer on the male side, as Young (26 percent) was followed closely by Trace Adkins and Luke Bryan.
For the past few months, Chris Young has been traveling with Miranda Lambert as the opener for her On Fire Tour. Of course, Young was excited to kick off shows for the firecracker country songstress — but he didn’t really think about how many dogs would travel alongside her ahead of time. Fortunately, he admires the way Lambert treats her four-legged friends.
These days, Chris Young is riding high with his fourth consecutive number one single, ‘Tomorrow,’ and a new hit album, ‘Neon.’ But life wasn’t always so rosy for the onetime ‘Nashville Star’ winner.
