I am really excited for ski season this year.
I am really excited for ski season this year.
I generally opt out of the season pass each year and instead try to hit up all the special ticket price days at Bridger Bowl, Big Sky, and Moonlight. Cheap ticket days paired with full priced great powder days equals a great season for me! From Turkey for a Ticket day to MSU Bobcat Day, I've compiled the dates to mark on your calendars for lift ticket deals this ski/ride season.
Yesterday (Aug 2) at approximately 11:50 pm an ATV crash was reported on Andesite Road in the Yellowstone Club at Big Sky.
This is a pretty special event that's coming to Big Sky!
If your stuck at home for spring break, there's no place I'd rather be "stuck" than Southwest Montana!
We are staying in town this year for spring break. While there's part of me that would give anything to be on a beach in the sun with my kids, I am also kind of excited for some downtime at home
I know we're having a warm week, but the snow is way better here than most other parts of the country.
Nearly 350 racers traveled to Big Sky Resort in Southwestern Montana over the weekend for round 6 of the AMA West Hare Scrambles Championship Series. Racer photos and finishing places inside.
National championships were on the line for many of the youth and amateur classes on Saturday
Biggest skiing in America is getting even bigger! Big Sky Resort is expanding its gladed tree runs by adding five new ski trails with 20+ acres of new terrain that will open on Andesite Mountain for the 2011/2012 winter season.
This video of the Pond Skim at Big Sky kind of makes me sad! I didn't get to go this year, because my family voted and I lost! I think they are over skiing. I am going to show this to the kids to ensure my place there next year! Want to watch a really good video? Want to watch a really good video?
The fresh snow that has fallen on Southwest Montana over the past couple of weeks has put smiles on both skiers & boarders; and ski area operators alike. The early season openings have not just benefited Big Sky, Moonlight, and Bridger; but ski areas across the state.
With Bridger Bowl and Moonlight Basin moving up opening dates due to record snowfall, area skiers and boarders are poised to hit the mountains. Big Sky opens today and has picked up another foot of new snow in the last 24 hours, giving the resort a 40" base at the bottom of the hill, and 70" at the summit
