The Boston Celtic faithful were none too pleased when the team traded for forward Jeff Green earlier this season. This wasn't so much of a reflection on Green; he's a perfectly adequate NBA role player. Instead, Celtic nation was bummed that the price for acquiring Green included popular center Kendrick Perkins.

Sure, the kid blatantly travels before launching his epic buzzer beater, and it doesn't appear to be a regulation length basketball court the youngsters are playing on. This afternoon in Bozeman the Sacramento State Hornets (7-17, 4-9) handed the Bobcat Men's Basketball team (11-14, 5-8) it's sixth straight loss, 74-71 in front of the blue & gold faithful in the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. The Cats next face San Jose State on the road this Tuesday night.

In the early game of yesterday's Cat/Griz basketball double-header in Bozeman, the Lady Griz avenged their earlier loss to the Bobcat women by winning 56-55 in the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. Game-two was no better for Bobcat fans last night, as the men lost to Montana 79-58.

The Montana State Men's and Women's basketball teams host the Montana Grizzlies in double-header action today in Bozeman.  The Bobcat women tip-off at 2:05 this afternoon in the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. The Bobcat Men's Basketball team (9-7, 3-1) ended it's three-win run into the Big Sky Conference season with a 72-58 loss tonight gainst Northern Colorado (8-7, 4-0). The Bears outscored the Bobcats 41-23 in the second half to open their conference record with four straight wins. The Cats return home to host Portland State Thursday night in Bozeman. GO CATS!
