If you've been watching American Idol this season, you know they've had a few country stars perform so far, but on April 14, Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson will perform on the show.  Carrie Underwood is also scheduled soon, and I think that her and judge Steven Tyler will sing together like they did on the ACM Award Show...

(CNN) -- When CNN's Piers Morgan asked Simon Cowell what he thought about this season's "American Idol," Cowell said, "I personally think it is a better show than last year." Cowell is tonight's guest on "Piers Morgan Tonight."

America said goodbye last night to 2 American Idol Contestants – America bid adieu to Thia Megia and Naima Adedap. There’s something fishy going on this season on ‘American Idol’. There’s a pattern forming with these eliminations that could prove very disconcerting for certain remaining contestants...

Nobody went home last night on Idol as the judges used the only "SAVE" they were saving!  So next week TWO contestants will be leaving the show!

Have you been keeping up with American Idol this season? With all the changes and additions to the show, one thing is still the same, the talent. Fox has recently announced the judges' picks for the top 24. Did your favorites make it in? Did they choose the housekeeper Lauren Turner or the red haired Brett Loewenstern?

Apparently America isn't sick of reality talent shows yet. CMT will be doing an American Idol esque Country Singer show.

So who is this Scott McCreery anyway?  Tom & Colleen played a clip of his singing from the AI auditions on Wednesday night.  He is pretty dang good that's for sure!  I do believe that American will.

Did you see contestant Paris Tassin sing the Carrie Underwood song "Temporary Home"?  It made J-Lo cry.  Wanna hear it along with the presentation Idol did for her?

I am not an American Idol Fan.  I've watched the show only a few times through the years.  But enough to know about Simon and the rest of the judges.  Last night I watched just to see how the new judges,  Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez would handle themselves alongside remaining judge Randy Jackson.
