Suffering From Cabin Fever? Here Are Five Fun Montana Winter Activities to Get You Out of the House
Montana winters are long and cold. There’s no other way to put it. We’ve still got awhile until spring, so we might at well make the best of it. If you’re suffering from cabin fever, and need some reprieve, here are some fun things to do during the winter in Montana.
Spend the day at Bridger Bowl
It only takes you about 20 minutes to get to Bridger Bowl from Bozeman. You can even take a Skyline bus to save on gas money. Bust out your skis/boards and hit the mountain!
Bozeman is like a snowshoe mecca. There are many trails and forest service lands open to snowshoers. From Hyalite to Fairy Lake, there is no shortage of terrain to explore.
Cross Country Skiing
Cross country skiing is a challenging activity. If you’ve mastered the slopes at Bridger Bowl, and are ready to take it to the next level, cross country skiing is a fun and challenging sport to try.
There are many places to purchase a sled in Bozeman. Peet’s Hill is a great place to take the kids sledding!
Visit Hot Springs
Bozeman Hot Springs, Norris, and Chico are all less than an hour from Bozeman. If you want to get away and relax, hot springs are always a good choice.
