Steel Magnolia Help Troops Phone Home

Steel Magnolia's Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones will perform a free acoustic concert for the Florida high school that collects the highest number of gently used mobile phones for the "Cell Phones for Soldiers" campaign.  The phones will then be used to raise funds to purchase calling cards for use by military overseas.

"It seems like a whole different lifetime! But at the same time it feels like it's just flown," Meghan told the Boot. "I can't even believe it. We've just been so busy and kept our head down and kept going, going, going for a year straight and hadn't really had a chance to stop and look back, so it's cool to come back and kind of relive it and think about it -- wow, we really did that!"
