This Saturday, May 12th is National Stamp Out Hunger Day. The Gallatin Valley Food Bank is teaming up with the National Association of Letter Carriers for the 26th annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive!  All donations will help our community and fight hunger in the Gallatin Valley.

Here's how you can participate:

  • Set a bag of non-perishable food near your mailbox on Saturday
  • Make sure your items are out preferably before 9 a.m.
  • Your letter carrier will pick up your items when they drop off the mail
  • Use the green envelope you may have gotten in the mail and enclose a financial gift

Kid oriented items like granola bars, mac and cheese and fruit snacks will be used for the Gallatin Valley Food Bank's Kids Pack Program. This program delivers an undisclosed package to children in need on Fridays so they have food for the weekend.

Come on, XL Nation, no one should be hungry here in the Gallatin Valley. Please leave a couple of cans for your mail person on Saturday!
