Sometimes the act of getting into character for a movie continues off of the movie set. Robert Di Nero found this out the hard way as he was wondering the streets of New York to gather the insight into the world of a vagabond, and nearly became one himself.

The star of the upcoming movie Being Flynn was doing 'field research' for the role in New York City and then returned to the hotel in which he owns and was barred entrance. The hotel staff mistook De Niro as a regular homeless man and simply executed their duty to refrain the man from entering.

De Niro was eventually let in and he was happy the security guards were doing their job.

I wonder if they made him do a classic De Ni

ro impressionism before they believed it was truly him?
