A Baltimore Ravens cheerleader said yesterday that she's been benched for the Super Bowl, because she gained less than two pounds.

Her name is Courtney Lenz, and she's retiring after this year.

She says she weighed 124 pounds during the regular season, and the team wanted her lower than that. When she went above 125, that was too much.

She was benched for a game at that point, and they told her it was a "disciplinary action."

For the Super Bowl, the team gets to take 32 cheerleaders out of a total of 60. Anyone who was benched for disciplinary reasons during the regular season doesn't get to go.

But Courtney also says some cheerleaders who are going were also benched, so she thinks she's being unfairly singled out.
