Park County Commissioner Makes Plea Deal in DUI Charge
A Park County commissioner has made a plea deal with prosecutors who accused him of drunken driving last year before he took his current position.
Clint Tinsley pleaded guilty to negligent endangerment, was fined $1,090 and given a deferred sentence of nine months in jail.
In return, a DUI charge was dropped.
Attorney Karl Knuchel tells the Livingston Enterprise he and his client are pleased with the plea agreement.
The 51-year-old Tinsley took office in January. He was previously Livingston's public-works director.
He was charged in May 2012 with driving under the influence and careless driving after a Livingston police officer pulled him over when he crossed into the wrong lane of traffic.
