Norris Campground Closed To New Campers
Having water is pretty important when you're camping. Yesterday morning, the water supply system in the Norris area failed, so there is no running water at the campground and at most employee residences. For this reason they are not letting any new campers check in.
All restrooms and potable water sources at the campground are closed. Limited portable toilets and limited alternative drinking water sources are available for campers who have already paid for multiple nights.
Maintenance staff are working to get the system running again, but right now they don't know when it will be fixed.
