New YMCA Opens in Bozeman

Almost a year to the day that they broke ground, the new YMCA opened its doors in Bozeman today. The new facility on the corner of Baxter & Love Lanes, next to The Commons, will be open 7 days a week, and offers fitness/workout facility, locker room, and a host of programs designed for Gallatin Valley kids.

Eventually, the new YMCA plans include a gymnasium, swimming pool, and daycare.

$5 million dollars was raised to make the new YMCA a reality. An additional $1 million dollars is still needed, so the YMCA is offering commemorative bricks that will be displayed on the front walkway path. Bricks are 3” x 8” and can be engraved with up to 3 lines and up to 13 characters per line. Bricks are $250.
