The MSU Bobcats picked up their first win under new head coach Jeff Choate by beating Bryant University 27-24.

Faced with a 4th and 1 from their own 47yd line with under 5 minutes to play, the Bobcats decided to play for the win and go for it. Gunner Brekke picked up the first down and the Bobcats secured their first win of the season.

Brekke ran for 80yrds and 1 touchdown on 17 carries. Tyler Bruggman, the Bobcats new quarterback, was 14-28 for 126yds passing. See complete stats below.

The Bobcat defense, after allowing no points in the 2nd half against Idaho in the season opener, gave up 452 yards to the Bulldogs, while the Bobcats managed only 265yds of total offense. And after only giving up 1 turnover last week, the Bobcats had zero turnovers on Saturday giving them only 1 turnover in the first two games.

The Bobcats will be at home again next Saturday hosting Western Oregon.
