Montana is such a beautiful state, but it seems that some of the nation has forgotten us while we deal with these wildfires as they tear through the state.  There are four fires burning right now that are over 50,000 acres and one of which is the Rice Ridge Fire (Seeley Lake) fire has reached 132,732 acres.

Lolo Peak Fire is up to 51,001 acres according to InciWeb.

"These fires are. . . larger than the state of Rhode Island," stated the Great Falls Tribune.

The air quality here in Bozeman hasn't been good. It has been moderate lately and can cause respiratory issues for people sensitive to unclean air.  See current air conditions here.

The good news is that for the first time in awhile, we have rain and snow in the forecast for this week.  Details here.
