Fresh off of national signing day, Montana State University has extended the contract of head football coach Jeff Choate for 3 more years. The new deal extends through the 2021 football season.

Director of Athletics Leon Costello said that he's excited about the progress Choate has made and continues to make with the Bobcat football program. Costello is quoted on MSUBobats.com as saying, "He and his staff are building this program the right way, attracting high-quality student-athletes that are performing in the classroom and on the field.

After announcing the new signings yesterday on National Signing Day, Coach Choate said, "The future is now."

Spring practice for the Bobcats opens on March 3rd. The first game of the season is August 30th at home against Western Illinois.
