According to a recent study, Montana ranks close to last on the list of safe states in America.

The website WalletHub ranked the Safest States in America and Montana came in at 44th. It is one of the least safe states in the country.
Many different factors were considered while compiling data for the study. Montana ranks 49th in the country on the list for most vehicle fatalities. The state also ranks really high in occupational fatalities and bullying incidents.
