XL Country wants to give a shout out to our Montana Army National Guard. We've received word that the 143rd Detachment out of Livingston now has boots on the ground in Afghanistan. The unit has approximately 32 soldiers who are conducting law and order missions.

The 143rd left Montana in January for Fort Dix where they went through eight weeks of training. They are now at Manas Air Force Base in central Kyrgyzstan, where they will be deployed for approximately one year.

Good luck to our fellow Montana soldiers there . . . Thank you for your service and we will be thinking of you!
