Mommy Memos: Life Check

There's so much you can do with a hoola hoop that's fun. Direct quote from Gracie. I need those kinds of insights and reminders every once in a while.  It was one of "those days" today.  Nothing too big, some poopy pants, some poopy attitudes, and some laundry.  I am sitting with my kiddos, listening to music, as I write this; glass of wine in hand.

The last year has been a struggle for me, and as a Mom, it's tough sometimes to keep it all together.  I am reminded all the time that my problems are small in relation to other people, and the world...but they are my problems, and sometimes they get the best of me.  Then, Gracie comes upstairs, dressed like Batgirl, with a hoola hoop in hand, and says "there's so much you can do with a hoola hoop that's fun."  Blessings counted...day better...wine still in hand!
