Mommy Memos

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!  A very cold day in SW Montana.  Kids are going to school, of course...we aren't a bunch of wusses like the people in Denver!  My sister teaches school there, and I think she is more excited than the kids.  I remember sitting by the radio as a kid, waiting to hear if we were going or not.  I LOVED snow days.  We didn't get very many in Casper, but those few memories will stick with me forever.  My mom would let us do just about anything...stay in our p.j.'s, eat junk food, watch t.v.  I am kind of bummed we are so tough around here.  I would love a day with all of my kiddos, wrapped up in a blanket, watching movies.  I have a pot roast in the crockpot this morning, and I am ready to hunker down.  It's just not as much fun without my kids!
