Miranda Lambert – Over You [MUSIC VIDEO + BEHIND THE SCENES]

It was the music videos of country music that got me hooked on the twang. It was the heartbreaking love stories and gorgeous singers that made it a good retreat from MTV or VH1. 10 years later, both are still true as made evident in this great video by Miranda Lamber for 'Over You'.

It is rumored that the song was originally written by Miranda Lambert's husband Blake Shelton for his brother who died. It was too emotional for Blake to sing it though and he passed it on to Miranda. I'm guessing the two boys playing in the woods are Blake and his brother. Knowing the story, the song takes on a whole other meaning for me. Has a country music video ever made you cry?
