This Saturday at 3 p.m. the annual Livingston Roundup Parade will make its way through downtown Livingston, Montana. The theme of this year's parade is the "National Park Service Centennial Celebration."

Here are some changes being made with this year's parade:

  • Chairs cannot be placed along the parade route the evening before. Officials are asking people to please not set up their parade chairs until 6 a.m. on July 2, the morning of the parade.
  • No candy is to be tossed from floats or vehicles to children along the parade route. To keep kids safe, a chalk line will be drawn along the route and all those watching the parade are required to stand back behind the line. Also, parade participants must  walk the parade route and hand candy directly to children and adults.

Northern Energy Propane will again be providing FREE parking at their business location at 4 Merrill Lane in Livingston, FREE food (hot dogs, chips, soda, water, cookies), and a FREE bus ride to and from the parade route. All of this beginning at noon on parade day.

Also, send us your best picture of the XL Ram in the Livingston Roundup Parade. Just post it on our Facebook page and that will be your entry to win a pair of VIP tickets to the Livingston Classic PBR on Aug 6. Winner will be announced July 5 on the XL Country Morning Show.
