[UPDATE] USA Today has put the number of deaths above 200. According to the Interior Minister, Mohammed Ibrahim, 43 policemen were killed.

[11:14 AM] Tragic events unfolded in Egypt's capitol this morning as the government opened fire on protesters in support of ousted former President Mohammed Morsi. Over 100 are reported to have been killed and thousands injured. Here is a live feed of Cairo and of what is happening now.

Two journalists were reported among those killed. Sky News cameraman Mick Deane and Gulf News reporter Habiba Ahmed Abd Elaziz.
