The Academy of Country Music Awards telecast on Sunday night (April 7) is shaping up to be quite an event. In addition to all of the great live acts already announced, pop musician John Mayer has been added to the lineup, joining Brad Paisley for a joint performance on the show.

The pair have previously played together on 'CMT Crossroads.' No song selection for Sunday evening has been announced.

They join an all-star roster that already includes the premiere of ACM host Blake Shelton's new single ‘Boys ‘Round Here,’ for which he'll be joined by co-host Luke Bryan, Sheryl Crow, Pistol Annies and Paisley -- who looks like he's going to be very busy that night.

Little Big Town, Hunter Hayes, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum and Miranda Lambert. Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood will also take the stage, among others. Garth Brooks and George Strait are slated to perform together for the first time ever in a tribute to Dick Clark.

In addition, country superstars Gary Allan, Faith Hill, Shania Twain, Trisha Yearwood, Chris Young and Eli Young Band have been added to the long list of presenters.

The 2013 Academy of Country Music awards will air live on Sunday, April 7 from the Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas at 8PM ET on CBS.
