Jason Michael Carroll turned to social media to vent after getting into a car accident on Friday (Feb. 9).

The "Alyssa Lies" singer posted the photo above to Instagram on Friday, showing the aftermath of a two-car accident that tore up the right front end of the Volvo he was driving. The angle of the photo makes it look as if the other car involved tried to pull onto the road Carroll was traveling from a side road.

"Well this week has sucked," Carroll writes, adding, "Could always be worse I reckon. Glad I had already dropped my kids off at school this morning before this lady pulled out in front of me."

Carroll says he was driving his father in law's car and slowing down to make a turn at the cross street when the other car pulled in front of him.

Country Stars Who Have Suffered Tragedy

"Between this, financial worries, our poor dog and everything else, I’m really tired of this week," he states. "Sorry for the heavy post but I have always been open with y’all. I have a headache. I’m resting now. #CheckingOutForABit."

A post from earlier in the week indicated Carroll's dog, Blocker, has been retaining fluid and swelling in his stomach. By Friday night Carroll's terrible week had begun to get a little better; he went to see his youngest son play basketball, and when the family stopped by Waffle House afterward, a fan there paid for their dinner.

"She said she followed me online and said she knows we’ve had a rough week," he writes before asking for continued prayers for Blocker.

"He’s laying beside me while I’m watching the UNC game on the couch, sore but glad today wasn’t worse," Carroll says, adding the hashtags #ThankYouAll and #ThankYouForDinnerTracy.
