It’s Working Out – Colleen At The Ridge
First, a disclaimer. This is not me in the picture, as much as I wish it was!
FINALLY! Some beautiful weather! We spent the weekend at the lake, and even though the water is COLD, I decided to go waterskiing. Last year was challenging. I was having so many health problems, and still didn't know what was wrong with me. I was weak, and was having a very hard time dragging my butt out of the water.
Got up on my first try this year. The workout is starting to pay off in 'real life.' My arms and legs aren't even sore this morning. I also took the paddle boat out with the kids for hours at a time. This is what is going to keep me going back to The Ridge.
I don't love working out. I love the way it makes me feel afterward. I had so much energy this weekend. I got up early, played all day, and slept like a log at night. I haven't felt this good in years! Even the five pounds I would still like to lose didn't bug me.
I want you to feel this good! All you have to do is take that first step. I really love The Ridge, for so many reasons. I have seen every body type there. It's not all skinny, in shape people. I wouldn't want to go there if it was that type of gym. It's people in all sizes, shapes and ages, trying to get and stay healthy. Plus, there's a spa, and every kind of exercise class you can think of.
