Is Your Montana Neighbor Making Meth? Here Are The Signs

Drugs are on the rise everywhere in the United States. Some cities are struggling with addictions more than others, but the harsh reality of it is, is that drugs are around every corner.

There are many of us that have no clue that our neighbors could be supplying the town we love and live in with some of the most addicting and dangerous drugs. Meth has become more and more popular as it is so addictive that it is believed you could be hooked after just one use. It is also one of the cheapest drugs to manufacture.

How would you even know if your neighbor or someone you know is making methamphetamines'? Here are the signs to watch for according to codb.us:

• Numerous matchbooks with strike plates removed, or collections of discarded striker plates (source of red phosphorous).
• Discarded vinyl or rubber tubing, various sizes, sometimes restaurant grade. Tunnels. Tubing with dark red stain.
• Glass jars, containers, with multilevel fluids. Plastic containers with small plastic or vinyl tubes coming out of the spout, usually duct taped in place (may contain dangerous waste products).
• Vinyl gas cans or plastic garbage bags with duct taped hoses/tubing sticking out (extremely dangerous)

• Cat litter, no cat.
• Dismantled lithium batteries (strips).
• Discarded propane bottles with discolored brass valves (blue color) may have been used to hold anhydrous ammonia (extremely dangerous).
• Multiple discarded bottles or boxes of over the counter cold/allergy remedies containing ephedrine or pseudoephedrine or discard blister packs that contain these products.
• Coffee filters with dark red or brown stains.
