Interactive Map Illustrates the Perils of the United States

Have you ever wondered how often bad stuff happens in Montana? I found this great interactive map that tells everything from the number of lightning strikes, to loss of teeth and traffic fatalities. Montana lives up to its nickname of "Last Best Place" by not ranking near the top on any of the statistics.

I was blown away by the fact that Florida nearly triples all other states with their number of lightning strikes with 74.
