If Idaho allows guns to be carried on college campuses, would Montana follow suit and do the same? Should we?

If the legislation passes, people with enhanced concealed carry permits in Idaho would be able to carry weapons onto public college campuses.

Here in Montana, it is up to each university to come up with its policy of concealed weapons.  Montana State University's weapons policy bans the carrying of a concealed weapon on campus even if the person has a concealed carry permit. Weapons can be stored in graduate housing and at authorized residence hall storage facilities.

Currently, Utah is the only state in which public colleges can not ban concealed gun carrying and all 10 public institutions allow concealed weapons on campus.

Would you want Montana universities to allow concealed weapons on campus?
