Horseback Poker Ride for Heroes & Horses

This Saturday you're invited to join Heroes & Horses for a horseback poker ride at the Flynn Ranch, 12 miles east of Townsend, Montana. Included in the poker ride will be a barbecue and a silent auction.

All the proceeds go to Heroes & Horses who offer a unique and comprehensive three-phase program that uses horses and the remote wilderness to shift the veteran’s perception of the effects of their combat experience.

Registration and check-in begins at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday. First horse out is at 7 a.m. Lunch & silent auction is at 12 p.m. followed by live auction at 1 p.m. Auction items include:

• Guitar signed by the Rolling Stones
• Johnny Cash signed record album
• Godfather movie poster signed by the entire cast
