This will be the closest Mars has come to Earth in 15 years!

The NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory YouTube announced that starting July 27 you will be able to see Mars in the night sky with an unaided eye.

The best time to see Mars will be midnight on July 28, and if you want to see it in more detail you should use binoculars or a telescope.

After July winds down, you will still be able to see Mars, but in the passing months it will be getting further and further away due to Mars' orbit around the sun.
