I have been pretty lucky to go on some amazing vacations to far off places, but none comes close to my vacation last week. It was the best vacation I have ever had, for so many reasons.
I needed to get away, I was worn out. I am not complaining…I feel like I lead a very blessed life with my kids, husband, job and house, but needed a break. Where better to take a break than in the mountains of Wyoming with my Mom and Dad?
We went fishing and golfing, lunching and shopping, and finished it all with a wild weekend at Frontier Days, while the kids stayed with my folks.
I am recharged and ready to get back at it. I do try to take time to stop and smell the roses, but sometimes get caught up in the “have to’s.” This vacation reminded me that the “have to’s” may have to wait.
Instead of taking one of those rushed vacations, I got to spend some very special time with some extremely special people. I loved watching my kids with their Grandma and Grandpa O, who spoil them rotten.
I have some wonderful pictures, and even better memories from last week.
Tell me about your best vacation! Was it Disney, a beach or something simpler?
