You've heard the joke...a goat walks into a bar...

Well, this time, it's no joke.  And no, the Butte bar patrons didn't have too much to drink, and start seeing things.

A patron called to complain early Sunday that somebody brought the female pygmy goat into an unidentified Butte bar.
An animal control officer picked up the goat outside the bar and took it to a shelter.
Chelsea Bailey Animal Shelter Supervisor Jacki Casagranda says if the owner doesn't come forward by Wednesday, shelter workers will begin the process to adopt it.
Casangranda says it's the first time an impounded goat has been brought to the shelter.
The shelter workers are calling the goat Shirley, and they say it is sweet and friendly.
