Montana is full of scenic places. From roaring rivers to crystal clear lakes, from fields of gold to snow-covered mountain peaks, sometimes even pictures don't do Montana justice.

It's no wonder Montana is on many people's bucket list to visit. I mean, they call it the "Last Best Place" for a reason. It's simply stunning. You would be hard-pressed to make a list of the Top 10 most beautiful places here, so I can't even imagine narrowing it down to just one, however, that's what one publication decided to do.

CNTraveler went across all 50 states and picked the most beautiful spot in each of them. Certainly not an easy task, America is full of majestic locations, but I'm guessing it was a little more difficult to pick the most beautiful spot in Montana and I do not envy those who had to choose.

Which Montana location was named the most beautiful spot in the state?

Before we reveal the location the website picked for Montana, let's look at a few places in surrounding states. Over in North Dakota, the most beautiful place is located in the western part of the state. Theodore Rosevelt National Park took to the crown for our neighbors to the east. The National Park is something to see, with rock formations that date back millions of years.

Down in Wyoming, the most beautiful place is certainly not a shocker. Yellowstone National Park was named the most beautiful place in the state. Yellowstone is not only the oldest National Park in the United States but has been referred to as America's favorite for decades.

Over in Idaho, The Palouse was named the most beautiful place. Located in the northern part of the state, The Palouse covers right around 4000 square miles and is simply stunning in the springtime with all of the different shades of green.

It might not come as a huge surprise that the most beautiful place in Montana is Glacier National Park. From Lake McDonald to Going To The Sun Road, Glacier is simply one of the most beautiful places on the earth. While Montana has lots of options for breathtaking views, Glacier National Park is the best of the best.
