Today is the 6th Annual Get Poked For Caden Blood Drive from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Bozeman Fire Station 3 (by the Dino Park)!

Between April 2012 and July 2013, Caden received 35 transfusions of blood products as he battled stage IV, high risk neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of childhood cancer. As a 3-year-old at diagnosis, Caden not-so-affectionately referred to the frequent needle sticks as "pokes."

On Friday, Caden turns 9 years old! Blood donors sustained his life in a very tangible way 35 times, so how fitting that we celebrate his life with a blood drive.

Walk-in appointments are being accepted today. And if you're scared, Caden will be there to cheer you on! If he can be "poked" over 150 times, you can do it, too! You can be a hero and save a life!
