George Strait and Martina McBride On Tour Together in 2012

MARTINA McBRIDE WILL JOIN KING GEORGE IN 2012: From REPUBLIC NASHVILLE:

Martina McBride is very excited to bestarting off the New Year out on the road with George Strait on his tour. “It's been probably six or seven years since we've toured with him and that experience in itself was amazing, but we were doing stadiums. But I think this tour will be even more intimate, and it's just great.” One thing Martina is really looking forward to taking advantage of is the opportunity to hang out with George. “I don't know if he still does this but when we toured together before,” she says, “there was a tent every night. You could go and hang out with him if you wanted to. He kind of likes to hang out, which I was surprised, and I took advantage of that. You know I'm thinking if I get to hang out with George Strait, I'm gonna do that.” Martina says she and George have always had a cool connection and, “I just really think he's awesome.” The tour will kick off on January 27th at the Cajundome in Lafayette,
LA, and will wrap up on February 25th in Kansas City.
