Yesterday afternoon (April 24th) a woman led the Police on a high-speed car chase from a Bank, through Four Corners, Into the Gallatin Canyon and then back to Four Corners before she was finally stopped by crashing into the ditch after running over stop sticks laid in the road at the intersection of Gooch Hill and Huffine Lane.

27 year-old Brandi Hodgin of Billings is charged with two counts of criminal endangerment, one count of forgery and one count of theft by possession of stolen property.  She will be in court this morning to answer to the charges.

The incident started early Wednesday, with the report of a checkbook being stolen.  Hodgin then allegedly wrote checks from the stolen account, and a bank notified authorities. When officers arrived at the bank to investigate, the suspect fled the scene which led to the car chase.

Surveillance camera stills have been released of the suspects in the Boston bombing that occurred on Monday, April 15th. See the photos inside. The FBI is asking for the public’s help in identifying the individuals but asks to not approach them.

The FBI has named the suspects suspect 1 and suspect 2. Suspect 1 is seen in a BLACK hat, and suspect 2 is seen in a WHITE hat. Suspect 2 was seen dropping a bag before the bomb at the second bomb site exploded.

Shania Twain turned 47 yesterday,August 28, and still looks great! The singer has offered cutting-edge country music and fashion in the 18 years since releasing ‘The Woman With Me’ in 1995. While this wasn’t her debut album, its success (over 12 million copies sold in the U.S. alone) changed the landscape of country music forever. 

Twain pushed the limits onstage and on red carpets, as well. Early on, she caught the eyes of many male country music fans by wearing shirts that barely covered her stomach, or didn’t at all. She wasn’t afraid to add sex appeal to a genre that was known mostly for its wholesome, conservative approach to life and music videos.

After yesterdays appointment it is officially 100% a girl.  Personally I’m a little scared to have a little girl but I’m really excited at the same time.  It’s a crazy feeling to know your gonna be a parent.  Am I ready for poopy diapers— probably not— Thankfully my wife Loves to change diapers!

Lonestar has some really exciting news! Richie is rejoining the group!  2012 is the 20th Anniversary of Lonestar.  I am very proud to call these guys  my friends.  I was there in the beginning when they were known as Texassee!  I met the guys in Reno the first night they had a gig at a local casino as the house band in 1991.  I was so impressed with them, I invited them to come into the radio station I was working at called K-BULL.  Ever since, I have been an avid fan and follower and friend of the band.  Dean Sams, the keyboardist and I keep in touch regularly.  I am so jazzed that Richie is back with the band and looking forward to some awesome sounding new Lonestar music in 2012!  The picture above was the first time the guys met my then girlfriend, (and now my beautiful wife Lori) and the first thing out of Richie’s mouth was to Lori, “Wow! What bet did you lose?” And he quickly followed that to her with, ‘it’s okay, we’re very close friends of Tom’…. LOVE THEM BOYS!

This weekend XL Country will look back at 9-11, Sunday the 10th Anniversary of the terrorist attacks

Started back up Sunday morning and used what was left in the can, which got me about 1/3 of the deck complete.  Holy Cow!  It does look really good, but now I’m off to the hardware store to get at least two more gallons of stain/weatherproofing to finish it up before Lori comes home on Thursday.
