Frankie Ballard, and Rhett Akins on Taste of Country Nights

We are so excited to have Frankie Ballard as one of our headliners for this year's Headwaters Country Jam, and on Wednesday evening this week on Taste of Country Nights, Sam Alex will talk to him about his new song, and wedding details.

And it's Throwback Thursday on TOCN, with Rhett Akins, who, if you didn't know, is the father of Thomas Rhett! I loved Rhett's songs "That Ain't My Truck," "Don't Get Me Started," and "She Said Yes." And Akins has co-written a huge amount of songs you'd know for other artists, including "Young & Crazy" (Frankie Ballard), "Gimmie That Girl" (Joe Nichols), "All About Tonight," and "Boys 'Round Here" (Blake Shelton), "When She Says Baby", "Just Gettin' Started", "Tonight Looks Good on You" (Jason Aldean), "Dirt on My Boots" (Jon Pardi), "Missing" (William Michael Morgan), and a crazy amount more (see his Wikipedia page).
