Florida Georgia Line started out the new year with news that they cruised to the top of the Country Digital Sales chart. The duo's 'Cruise' is now the No. 1 best selling country digital single of all time.

This isn't the first record their song has broken. 'Cruise' was a smash hit this summer and became a pop radio hit when they asked Nelly to join them for a remix. The single was FGL's debut, and it couldn't have done better -- literally. They sold a whopping 6.3 million copies!

The song even stayed at the No. 1 spot for 24 weeks, which is the longest any country song has stayed in that spot for as long as Billboard charts have been around. FGL's Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard want fans to know that songs like 'Cruise' are what they're all about, as far as sound is concerned.

“‘Cruise’ gave our listeners a good taste of what we’re all about, sound-wise,” Kelley says (quote via the Boot). “It’s a feel-good song, but I think with every song on the album, people are going to be a little bit surprised and will get a glimpse of what we can do. There’s a little bit of hip-hop, a little bit of rock, little bit of this, little bit of that in every song, so they’re not going to get sick of the album. There’s not a song that they would necessarily skip."

The guys don't think they deserve all the credit, though. FGL want their fans to know how thankful they are for what they've done for them. “You know, it’s just been so cool to see our fans rally behind us and support our music,” Kelley shares. “It’s amazing to see such passionate fans that stand outside and wait in line to buy tickets. Nobody told us how cool and passionate our fans would be."

Florida Georgia Line are currently finishing their highly anticipated second album and will be joining Jason Aldean on his Night Train Tour for the beginning of this year before their own Here’s to the Good Times Tour.
